Video from day 1 of my 2006 vacation. This is video of the train derailment near McKenzie, North Dakota on July 16, 2006. 20 of 110 cars full of soybeans derailed, blocking the main track for over 24 hours.
Congress just voted itself a five-week vacation rather than act to cut skyrocketing gas & diesel prices. In this radio commercial, Duane Sand talks about how both parties in Congress have failed us -- and Congressman Earl Pomeroy has done nothing to stop it.
Paid for by Duane Sand for Congress, Scott Mackenzie, Treasurer.
An odd collection of stops on our June 1992 vacation:
1. Alexandria, Minnesota and the world's tallest viking.
2. Jamestown, North Dakota
3. Bismarck, North Dakota and the state capitol.
4. New Salem, North Dakota and Salem Sue, the world's largest cow.
